Reformation Sunday at St Pierre Cathedral, Geneva
On Reformation Sunday, St Pierre Cathedral welcomed representatives from Geneva’s many Christian communities for an ecumenical service which also marked All Saints’ Day.
Rev Dr Enikő Ferenczy and Rev Christine Colliar took part on behalf of Scots Kirk Lausanne and the Church of Scotland Geneva, alongside representatives of Geneva’s Reformed, Lutheran, Episcopal and international Protestant communities, including Hungarian, Malagasy, Korean, Danish and Cameroonian congregations.
The service included liturgical dance, and a visual art installation by artist Sara Riesenmey, bringing additional forms of creative expression into the worship.
It was particularly meaningful to gather in Calvin’s cathedral, remembering those who have gone before us and celebrating the faith and friendships that bring our different churches together today.
For our two Swiss Church of Scotland congregations, it was a welcome opportunity to participate in the wider ecumenical life of Geneva and to affirm the friendships and shared witness that continue to grow between our churches.
Here is the full recording with the liturgical dance near the beginning after one of our congregation led the procession with the bagpipes!

Introduction Rev. Bill Quinn as
Minister of St. Andrew’s, Brussels
On Friday evening October 23, 2026, St. Andrew's Church in Brussels welcomed Rev. William (Bill) Quinn as its new minister. The introduction service was led by the Moderator of the International Presbytery, Rev. Graham Austin (Rotterdam).
The Introduction service was developed with the contribution of Pasteure Laurence Flachon of the Église Protestante Unie de Belgique (United Protestant Church of Belgium), with which St. Andrew's is also associated.
Quinn comes from the United States, where—prior to his move to Belgium—he served several years as the minister of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Fairhope, Alabama, a congregation within the PCUSA denomination.
After working for several years at various companies in the United States and elsewhere in the world, he pursued his ministerial training at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Quinn: "I loved my studies, and in fact, am continuing with further study as I pursue a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) through a joint program offered by the University of Edinburgh and the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary."
